Research Advisors are members of the public involved in our work to complement the development of the public involvement strategy and the research programmes (or themes). There are opportunities for other activities, such as visits to research units for meetings with research staff, attending project advisory or steering groups or conferences.
Research Advisors are paid for involvement in relation to specific research projects, at a current rate of £75 for a half day and £150 for a full day.
